• To decrease the risk of bruising, we recommend avoiding the following for three days before your treatment (unless medically contraindicated): 
  • Alcoholic beverages 
  • NSAIDs (Advil/ibuprofen/aspirin) 
  • Warfarin 
  • Herbal supplements: Vitamin E, St. John’s Wort, Garlic, Ginkgo, Ginseng 
  • Any supplements or medication that increases the chances of blood thinning 
• If you have a history of cold sores, you should plan to pre-treat with anti-viral (Valtrex) before your procedure. 
• Arrive at the office with the treatment area clean and free of make-up, lotions, creams, or products before treatment. 

• Please avoid wearing jewelry that is electrically conductive (e.g. earrings, neckless, watch, and piercings) from the face and body.
• Shaving of intended treatment areas is recommended for precise needle insertion.

Care instructions may vary depending on the intensity and area of treatment.

• On the day of the procedure, apply a facial mask or towel-wrapped icepack to the treated area to alleviate redness and swelling. *Products including vitamin C may cause burning sensation along the treated skin.
• Make-up and skin washing can occur 4-6 hours after treatment.
• Take care not to rub or scratch treated areas.
• Apply a skin booster, growth factor, or exosome treatment 2-3 times daily for optimal results.
• Avoid alcohol-based or oil-containing cosmetics for 1 week.
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• Avoid peeling or scrub products for 4 weeks.
• Avoid alcohol and smoking for 1-2 weeks.
• Avoid vigorous exercise, swimming, and saunas for 1-2 weeks.
