Neurotoxin (BOTOX®, XEOMIN®, Dysport®) works by selectively and precisely relaxing wrinkle-causing muscles. Neurotoxins are most commonly used to treat fine lines and wrinkles in the face. Neurotoxins can also be used in areas such as the masseter muscles for facial slimming or to treat TMJ or clenching, platysmal bands to help avoid “tech neck”, or underarms to treat hyperhidrosis.

The treatment is quick and minimally invasive. A small needle is used to inject neurotoxin in the area(s) of concern.

Treated muscles begin to relax within a few days and reach full correction within 2 weeks. Results typically last 3 to 4 months.
