PRF Gel is an autologous injectable treatment created from a small sample of your own blood. Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is processed to create a thicker, gel-like consistency that can provide subtle structural support while delivering platelets, fibrin, and naturally occurring growth factors to the treated area.
PRF Gel can be used to address areas of facial volume loss while also supporting improvements in skin quality, texture, and the appearance of fine lines. Because the treatment is derived from your own blood rather than a traditional hyaluronic acid dermal filler, it offers a regenerative approach for patients interested in natural-looking facial rejuvenation.
PRF Gel is particularly well suited to areas where both skin quality and subtle volume restoration are treatment goals, including the delicate under-eye area. It may also be used in other areas of the face depending on your anatomy and treatment goals.
At Vega Vitality, your provider will evaluate your facial anatomy and develop an individualized treatment plan designed to create balanced, natural-looking results.
Vega Vitality offers PRF Gel treatments at our locations in Boston, MA and Cary, NC. The specific PRF Gel system used varies by location:
Your provider can recommend the appropriate treatment based on your anatomy, concerns, and desired results.
EZ Gel™ is a form of PRF Gel created by processing platelet-rich fibrin derived from the patient’s own blood into a thicker, injectable consistency. This allows EZ Gel to provide subtle structural support while retaining the regenerative components associated with PRF.
At Vega Vitality’s Boston locations, EZ Gel may be used for concerns such as under-eye hollowness, age-related facial volume changes, fine lines, and overall skin quality. Treatment is customized based on facial anatomy and individual goals.
At Vega Fenton in Cary, we use the SELPHYL® system to create Selphyller Gel™, an autologous plasma gel made using platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) technology. The SELPHYL process creates a three-dimensional fibrin matrix that helps localize platelets and supports a sustained release of platelet-derived growth factors.
Selphyller Gel™ further processes this platelet-rich fibrin matrix into a thicker, gel-like consistency, allowing it to provide immediate tissue support while retaining the regenerative components derived from the patient’s own blood. It can be used in areas where subtle volume restoration and improvement in overall skin quality are treatment goals.
At our Cary location, your provider will determine whether Selphyller Gel™, traditional PRF, or another injectable treatment is most appropriate based on your anatomy and aesthetic goals.
