BBL® (BroadBand Light) by Sciton is an advanced light-based treatment used to improve sun damage, brown spots, redness, visible blood vessels, uneven skin tone, and other signs of photodamage.
Unlike a laser, which typically delivers a specific wavelength of light, BBL uses carefully selected ranges of broadband light that can be customized according to the pigment or vascular concern being treated.
At Vega Vitality, BBL treatments are personalized to your skin and goals and may be performed alone or combined with complementary technologies such as MOXI™ or HALO® for more comprehensive skin rejuvenation.
BBL stands for BroadBand Light, Sciton’s advanced form of intense pulsed light technology.
During treatment, controlled pulses of light are delivered into the skin. Different wavelengths can be selected to target chromophores such as melanin in unwanted pigmentation or hemoglobin in visible blood vessels and redness.

BBL HERO® represents a newer generation of Sciton’s BroadBand Light technology. HERO stands for High Energy Rapid Output.
