Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that uses ultrasound technology to lift, tighten, and transform the brow, eye area, chin, neck and chest. Ultherapy has been established as effective in clinical studies and in over a million treatments worldwide.

Ultherapy relies on ultrasound therapy to deliver its collagen-boosting treatment. It also incorporates traditional ultrasound imaging, which allows practitioners to see the layers of tissue they are treating, ensuring the treatment energy is delivered to where it will be most beneficial.

Consultations are required for this treatment. During this session, our highly trained practitioners will determine if you are a candidate for the treatment, discuss projected results, review before and after care, and discuss pricing

To decrease the risk of bruising, we recommend avoiding the following for 3 days prior to your treatment (unless medically contraindicated):

Alcoholic beverages
NSAIDs (advil/ibuprofen/aspirin)
Herbal supplements: Vitamin E, St. John’s Wort, Garlic, Ginkgo, Ginseng

Any supplements or medication that increases the chances of blood thinning

No dental procedures for 30 days prior to treatment

If you have a history of any cardiovascular disorders or arrythmias; use a pacemaker or defibrillator, you may not be a candidate for treatment.

Ibuprofen may be taken prior to the Ultherapy treatment

Arrive to the office with the treatment area clean and free of makeup, lotions, creams or products prior to treatment.

Sunscreen and makeup with SPF may be applied immediately after the treatment

Arnica gel or tablets can be used to reduce bruising
and swelling

Tylenol can be used to decrease post treatment discomfort

Avoid vigorous exercise, sun and heat exposure for
24 hours

Avoid Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen and anti-inflammatory drugs (unless medically contraindicated) for up to 4 weeks as these may decrease results.

Do not receive additional skin treatments (lasers, microneedling, facial, etc) or any treatment in the treatment area for 2 weeks

Yes, the contraindications for Ultherapy include:

Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Herpes Simplex
Thyroid disorders or medical conditions in or near the neck

Active infection, inflammation or skin condition at, or near, treatment area

Open wounds or lesions in the treatment area

Severe or cystic acne in the treatment area

Medications that interfere with blood coagulation

Dermal fillers in treatment area in previous 6 months

Patients with pacemakers or defibrillators or metal implants in the treatment area

Patients that have experienced a previous adverse reaction to an Ultherapy treatment.

Post treatment you can expect the following:

Redness that will subside in a few hours

Minor swelling, tenderness and bruising (for up to a week) at the treatment site

Temporarily tingling near treatment site

You can expect to start seeing results in 2-3 months and up to 6 months for full results.

The majority of patients only need one treatment; however, some may benefit from more than one treatment, depending on how much skin laxity you have and your body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and the collagen-building process. Follow-up Ultherapy treatments each year may help maintain results.
